Building customer relationships is of paramount importance to Curtis Darbee, who, alongside John Giannotti, runs the daily operations of our firm. With a particular focus on maintenance, Curt spends a great deal of time on project sites, helping oversee the crews and providing quality control. He is also a licensed New York State pesticide applicator.
Curt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in photography from LIU Post, a skill he uses to document some of the stunning landscape and design work created by our award-winning team.
In his free time, he enjoys working in his own yard, running, and spending time with his wife and two children.
As director of landscape design and installation, Timothy Barry is the driving creative force behind each and every one of our projects. With more than 30 years of experience as a practicing landscape designer, Tim has carved out a distinctive niche in the industry, and his detailed, concept-driven installations have become the hallmark of Dodds & Eder.
Tim is an avid proponent of the principle that outstanding design must be integrated with a disciplined business model to achieve success. A true collaborator and visionary, he has earned the accolades of his clients, and been honored with numerous local and regional awards for his designs.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from West Virginia University. He is actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America, and serves as a committee member and past committee chairperson for Troop 130 in Blue Point, NY.
John Giannotti oversees daily operations in our landscape installation and estate maintenance divisions, and has proven to be an invaluable resource. With a discerning eye for quality, he has refined and streamlined procurement of the best plant materials throughout the past 14 years—exceeding clients’ expectations, every time. John has also been an integral component in the development of our warrantee, customer service, and pruning programs.
